Dylan and his Friends

Binky Time

Mr. Dylan has three girl friends.  Not girlfriends but friends that are girls.  Yes, I'm already acting like the crazy protective mom!  Dylan is the oldest of his four friends.  It was really neat to have pregnant mommy friends but I'm excited to watch our darling babies grow up together.  In the picture below I think Dylan looks like a grouchy old man.

Benbrook Fire Station (02/16/2011)

I think Ethan has high interests in becoming a firefighter one day.  Ever since he was two, he always played with his fire truck and fireman.  He has slowly collected more than one truck since then and continues to play with them all.  This past Fall, we took pictures in front of the Benbrook fire truck, but today we got to tour the fire station.  Ethan was so excited to meet the Captain, see where they sleep, and most of all climb up on the fire truck.  I actully forgot my camera but my mommy friends took these of Ethan.

Bee Mine

Today we went on a play date to make a Valentine Card.  Ethan was excited to go see his friends since we were iced in most of last week.  I'm not sure what effort he put into making the Valentine Card but he did give the card to someone special.  Daddy was happy to receive a sweet surprise today.

Super Bowl Sunday.... Go Packers

 Super Bowl Sunday.... Go Packers
We got up early to head to mass today.  The Pittsburgh Steelers were staying at the Fort Worth Omni, right across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral.  It was cool to see the cathedral packed with lots of bright colors of Yellow and Black.  TOO bad they lost.  After mass we drove around down town to have lunch but it was too crowded.  The streets were blocked off because Sundance Square hosted ESPN.  There were lots of fans of all ages, sizes and colors walking the streets preparing for the Super Bowl Festivities.  Today was a perfect day to have a football game.

Waiting for the game to start
We didn't have tickets to the game but had front row seats in our living room.

Dylan Bath Time & Playing Games (01/03/2010)

Dylan isn't fond of bath time quite yet.  The water either turns cold fast or he doesn't like his face wet.

After Bath Time, the boys decided to play a quick game.  These days our board games may take anywhere from 2 minutes or 40 minutes.  If Ethan wants to play the game by his rules or no rules we usually don't last more than 2 minutes.  If Ethan wants to learn to play the game then sometimes it takes us 30 - 40 minutes to explain the game.  Sometimes Ethan likes to be sneaky so we have to watch him otherwise he wins every time.  (he's no dummy!)

Ethan Shaving (12/30/2010)

Santa brought Ethan a Sponge Bob Shaving Kit.  Here he is in action!

Later that evening we had a dinner celebration for Tasha.
I'm so proud of my mama!

She finished up her cosmetology classroom hours.  Now she is studying to take her written exam.  This was a very happy and exciting moment for all of us.  Once she passes that exam, we hope to get free lifetime hair cuts!

Dylan 1 Month (12/25/2010)

Dylan turned one month on Christmas Day!
We were fortunate enough to have great Texas weather in December and made the trip to Amarillo to spend Christmas with my siblings!  We love those Crazy Rangels & Noriegas.

Ethan going on 12

Ethan has become very brave these days.  Today Ethan is three but he acts like he is twelve!  We like that Ethan is very independent.
  • He can pick out and change his clothes.
  • Sleeps alone in his Big Boy Bed.
  • And lately he loves to sing and rock out on his guitars

He likes to give us some attitude too!  Like saying:  "I already heard you" or "I already told you" or "I'm not talking to you" and our favorite "UGHHH"

Here are a couple pictures of him showing off his mad skills!

You can't read his shirt but it says "Big Brother".
